In mid- October 2016, Chloe and her two babies showed up at a small colony feeding station in the yard of one of our volunteers. Can you imagine what a relief that must have been for this mom to find a regular food source, but at the same time how worried she must have been for the safety of her babies as winter approached.
Now in foster care with us, Chloe has flourished. She obviously was previously someone’s pet as she is a sweet, darling girl with a friendly, loving purr-sonality. Her favourite welcoming gesture is to throw herself to the floor and stretch herself on her side, full length, for tummy rubs. She has a hearty appetite since coming inside (no doubt as a result of her outside experience) and has filled out beautifully. Still lithe and lean, she loves to play with a feather wand or Da Bird. Chloe is very inquisitive and is always looking for an opportunity to sneak out of her foster room and explore the whole house, and to make friends with the residents cats in the home.
Chloe has been a very good mom and is ready to leave her babies, Dior and Gucci, and move to a “Fur”ever home with her own family. Is that family your’s?
